Who can earn an ABPT course certificate?

  • This course certificate is intended as a means to provide a network of therapists with a common base of knowledge in the area of brachial plexus birth injury.
  • In order to earn a course certificate, therapist must read courses on the site, and demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts underlying treatment by completing a set of questions.
  • In addition, therapist must demonstrate a willingness to participate in an on-going forum to allow for the exchange of the ever-changing base of knowledge applicable to the treatment of the child with a brachial plexus birth injury.
  • In order to take a course certificate exam, you must have an active individual account with MyABPT.com in which online course is offered.

  • Once you create a new account, log on to your account.
  • A course certificate process is divided into three phases.
  • You will need to take a short quiz at the end of each phase.
  • Upon successfully completing first phase you will be able to go to the second phase.
  • Upon successfully completing second phase you will be able to go to the third phase.
  • Upon successfully completing third or final phase, system will generate an ABPT certificate for you.
  • Once you have completed each phase, your test score will be displayed, along with the correct answers highlighted. A link to the preferred answer in the context of the reading material may also be provided.
  • Each phase may have a different percentage to pass. It is specified in the introduction page of each quiz at that phase. You must also answer all questions.
  • Once you have completed a complete course, your My ABPT summary page will be updated to reflect the earned certificate along with a link to a printable version of the official certificate for that course.

What will I receive to document the certificate I have earned?

  • Once you have completed the examinations thereby demonstrating your knowledge of the concepts described in the courses, you will be asked to pay for the certificate which will then be issued.

How do I know that my answers for a course certificate test are correct?

  • Once you have completed a specific examination, your score will be displayed, along with the correct answers highlighted. A link to the preferred answer in the context of the reading material may also be provided.
